Keeping her warm

Last week, I went to visit my sister. Let's say she lives in a different time zone than me. She will be going to the UK soon and has requested that I crochet a hat and a shawl for her. When I went to visit her, we went to buy some wool and upon reaching home, I began my noble task of crocheting with the aim of keeping my sister warm when she goes to that new place. I began with her red hat, halfway through, I began on the shawl, and halfway through I began another project---gloves. I like to start a few projects at about the same time because I get bored easily and I enjoy seeing more than one projects being completed all at about the same time. Makes me feel more productive too. Alas, after more than 40 hours of crocheting, I finally came up with two hats, one shawl and half a glove. My sister was overjoyed to receive them, so overjoyed that she requested for another pair of glove!!! Oh, and I managed to crochet a beanie for her husband too. Unfortunately I couldn't finish her gloves in time and brought them back home. Will be posting it to her once I have them completed. Now they are sitting just at the corner of my room, waiting for me, begging me to finish them. Guess it's going to take me a while before I can continue working on them. After all, who could blame me after having a more than 40 hours crochet ordeal!! :::Laughs::::

Slouch hat with lots of red and hints of brown.
My sister was the model by the way.

Slouch hat made with lots of love and sunshine,
Sunshine as!

She wanted 3 colours crocheted together, but they were too thick to do so. She's happy with this though.
